| Biography |
I was born on a cool fall night of October 11th at 4pm, and was raised all
my life throughout beautiful Orange County, CA. My wonderful mother is Swedish and my father was Pequot Indian (his name was even Blue!),
giving me a fairly unusual ethnic blend.
I have considered myself lucky to have my best friends as younger siblings;
a brother named Jeremy Blue (age 14) and a sister named Sarah Dawn (age 18).
We were always raised with tons of strange pets and animals, along with
having a goldminer and timberfaller for a grandpa. He taught us how to pan
for gold, survive in the woods with no luxuries (we fished for our dinner and
grew our own fruits and veggies) and how to explore abandoned cabins without falling through the floor (laughing), while my grandmother taught us
how to chop wood, make preserves and sew our own clothes and blankets.
I am and have always been an extreme tomboy, and love to do anything
the boys want to do - playing Pop Warner Football, Little League Baseball
and most of all, hockey. In fact, hockey became such a big part of my life, I
would practice and train every single morning, then play 2-4 league or pickup games every night I possibly could. When the day came that I was
good enough to start traveling on the adult co-ed competition teams as a
hockey forward, I was ecstatic - that was such a great accomplishment for
me! (Especially considering how many bones I broke to get there - I'm known for being a bit
aggressive with the men, but not in a mean way...) Hey, hockey IS about the fighting, right? (laughing) |
