Nicole de Boer (born December 20, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress, best known for her role as Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. De Boer currently appears on the television series The Dead Zone.
De Boer's early work of note was a recurring role on the Canadian sketch comedy show The Kids in the Hall as Laura, the on again/off again girlfriend of Bobby Terrance (Bruce McCulloch). She subsequently appeared (as a different character) in their 1996 film Brain Candy.
Her first major TV role came in 1997, in the short-lived Sci-Fi Channel series Deepwater Black (also known as Mission Genesis) as Yuna. She followed that up with a role in the low-budget, critically well-received science fiction film, Cube (1997). She has also featured in episodes of the Canadian produced SF series The Outer Limits.
De Boer's most noted role is that of Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (seventh season, 1999), and she currently stars as Sarah Bannerman in the television series The Dead Zone.
